Who We Are
A "seed was planted" on the morning of Saturday, June 27, 2009, as I weeded
my mother's beloved flowerbeds while she was in the hospital recovering from
chemotherapy treatments. You see, one of my mother's greatest passions is her
flowerbeds, and I wanted so much to give them the same loving care she always
did so to assure they looked as beautiful when she returned from the hospital
as when she left home. As I weeded, I thought about how many other people
there must be who love their flowers and need help tending them while they focus
on surviving cancer. The "seed" was now growing, so when visiting my mother later
in the day, I shared with her the idea about launching an enterprise that helps
people maintain their flowerbeds when they are unable to. Mother grew a smile,
immediately giving me the thumbs up, and she counseled, "Keep the price low . . .
keep the Passion high." On that day, Passion for Mother's Flowers was born.

Our Mission
We keep your Passion for your flowers alive while you focus on surviving cancer.
Our Services
At this time, Passion services - flowerbed maintenance including
weeding and watering - are offered to our Camp Hill and Mechanicsburg
neighbors unable to tend to their flowers while focusing energy on
surviving cancer. There is a minimal $10.00 per hour
fee and a minimum one-hour charge each visit. Ten percent of this fee
is donated to The American Cancer Society. The remaining funds are used
to maintain your community Memorial Garden and for our annual Mother's Day
weekend Plant-and-Remember Ceremony. (As the number of our
volunteers grows, our coverage services area will expand. Our first community
Memorial Garden has been developed in Hampden Township, and plans for
additional community Memorial Gardens will be announced.)
Our Commitment
We commit to donating ten percent (10%) of every paid invoice to
The American Cancer Society.
